Resident Managers | The Mychal Institute | Corolla, NC
RESIDENT MANAGERS, THE MYCHAL INSTITUTE, COROLLA, NC. We are
seeking 2 full-time Resident Managers for a new Addictions Recovery
center opening on the Outer Banks, NC in January, 2008. Our treatment program
is based on a holistic model, blending science-based treatment with a
spiritual basis for recovery. Individuals hired as Resident Managers
should have values consistent with those of the program and a strong
personal commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Familiarity with the
twelve-step recovery process is also a plus. Responsibilities include
coordinating and supervising activities for residents, enforcing
resident guidelines, problem-solving to resolve social or other problems,
compiling records of daily activities, ensuring security of the residence,
ascertaining need for and securing services of physician, answering
telephone, sorting mail, escorting individuals on trips outside the
center for shopping or other services. Must be willing to be certified in CPR
and willing to administer basic first aid if necessary. Two or more
years of residential experience preferred.
